Sowing Indoors
Sow two seeds 1.5cm deep in each module of a tray of firm, pre-watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. When large enough to handle, thin to one seedling per module.
Planting Out
Plant out in final position 30cm apart with 45cm between each row, when plants have 3-4 true leaves.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow 3 seeds in each station 1.5cm deep, directly in soil bed, 30cm apart. Keep soil moist at all times. Protect from frost. Thin out to 1 plant at each station when seedlings are large enough to handle.
