Campanula Seeds 'Telham Beauty'
- Bell-like lavender-blue flowers on long stems
- Popular with pollinators
- Cottage garden favourite
- Good for cutting
Campanula ‘Telham Beauty’ is a cottage garden classic, with gorgeous bell-like lavender-blue flowers on slender stems above mounds of green foliage. This elegant perennial is loved by pollinators and its soft colour blends beautifully with other flowers in a summer border. With their long stems, the flowers are ideal for cutting and last well in a vase. Campanula ‘Telham Beauty’ will grow happily in sun or partial shade.
Sow indoors
Sow on the surface of pre-watered seed compost, in pots or trays, lightly pressing into the surface. Place in a propagator or bag at around 20°C in shade and allow 2-4 weeks for germination. Remove lid or bag and keep in cooler, brighter conditions after germination.
Grow on
Transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle. Grow on in a sheltered spot outdoors, such as a cold frame or unheated greenhouse.
Plant out
Plant out in full sun in well-drained soil and water in well.
Advice and aftercare
Dislikes wet conditions in winter, hence the importance of ensuring the soil is well-drained. Cut back after flowering, once the foliage is dying back. Will benefit from division of established clumps every 2-3 years.Product Information
