Sow indoors
Sow thinly, 1cm (1/2in) deep in clean trays or modules of firm, pre-watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.
Plant out
Plant into the required harvest position 45cm (18in) apart with 45cm (18in) between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves. October sowings can be overwintered in a cold frame and planted out in March for the earliest harvests.

Transplant
