Foxglove Seeds 'Bubbly Pink' F1
- Hardy biennial
- Compact, well-branched and long-flowering
- Perfect for pots
- A recently-introduced Foxglove providing colour for many weeks in summer
Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth (15-20°C) and keep moist.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off/Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out from early summer onwards. Allow 30cm between plants. Alternatively, plant into patio pots using a good quality potting compost.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow in short, shallow, pre-watered rows in sun or moderate shade. Lightly cover with a little soil and keep moist until seedlings emerge. Thin out to 2cm apart when large enough to handle, before transplanting to their permanent positions.
