Aubergine 'Long Purple' is a popular heritage variety, grown in Europe since the 1900s. It boasts excellent flavours and long bodied fruits with very dark purple, shiny skin. These aubergines are best eaten slightly under ripe. Remove small fruits to leave no more than 6 fruit to develop and mature.
