French Marigold Seeds 'Tiger Eyes'

French Marigold Seeds 'Tiger Eyes'

Unwins French Marigold Tiger Eyes Seeds are striking bi-coloured flowers of the dwarf variety.

They will add a cheery burst of colour to your garden, producing dark maroon flowers with a beautiful burnt orange centre. They are easy to grow and perfect for pots and containers too.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth, 10-15°C and keep moist.

Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.

Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 25cm between plants.

Aftercare
Water regularly, especially in warm weather, feed fortnightly when flowering and remove dead flowers to prolong the display.
