The All Season Patio Seed Potato Kit
- 3 x Potato Grow Sacks: For easier growing, better control, and enhanced disease resistance.
- 5 x Swift Tubers: Aptly named for its rapid growth, producing harvestable crops in as little as 8 weeks from planting.
- 5 x Charlotte Tubers: A firm favourite among chefs, celebrated for its stunning flavour in salads.
- 5 x Maris Peer Tubers: Produce firm white fleshed tubers which do not break up or discolour on cooking. Expect heavy yields of medium sized tubers, which are good boiled.
- (Add on) 1 x Concentrated Potato: Feed to keep your crops thriving.
Enjoy the ease of growing potatoes in small spaces with our user-friendly potato planters. Perfect for any location; be it your allotment, patio, backyard, or balcony, these planters allow you to cultivate delicious potatoes wherever it’s most convenient for you.
Planting is simple: just half-fill the planter with compost and fertiliser, and then place your seed potatoes in from March. As the plants grow, add more compost and fertiliser to fill the planter, water regularly, and look forward to harvesting from late autumn to early winter.
To ensure your potatoes thrive, we recommend earthing up the soil around the stems every few days as they grow. This helps keep the tubers healthy and prevents them from turning green, which can be harmful. When temperatures drop, protect your plants from frost damage by covering them with horticultural fleece. If your planters are lightweight, you can bring them indoors on cold nights and return them outside during the day.
Get started on your potato-growing journey and enjoy the fruits of your labour all year round!
