This ‘Summer Snowflake’ viburnum is a real eye-catcher in mid to late spring and will often reward growers with a further flush of creamy lacecap-like flowers in August.

The horizontal branches is deciduous bushy shrub produce attractive green leaves that turn a glorious wine-red in autumn.

This hardy deciduous shrub can be grown in sun or partial shade in neutral, acid or alkaline soils. It grows to up to four metres (13ft) making it a good choice for a smaller garden, whether as an addition to a border or a specimen shrub. Viburnum plicatum ‘Summer Snowflake holds the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
