Aquadulce Claudia is a gardeners favourite broad bean ‘Claudia' produces very long glossy pods up to 9in, with tender light coloured beans. Harvest May to August, for best taste pick when they are young, sweet and have a nutty flavour. Pick them early, when less than 10cm and you can eat the pods, skins and beans can be eaten in their entirety. Towards the end of the season they are larger, less tender and more floury.
